Introduction: How to Make a Carbon Fiber Earphone Case

Materials:

· Scissors

Step 1: Prep Influence

Mix 2-hour epoxy rosin and cure according to directions. Paint epoxy onto carbon fiber.

Place C fiber covered phone cast, mucky with epoxy resin into a vacuum seal bag. Seal both sides with double sided tack/tape. Place tube into vacuum hole and turn on vacuum. Vacuum SEAL for 1 hr.

Step 7: Hammer Time

(Wear safety goggles and gloves when breaking plaster, blues Oregon dust may effort irritation to the skin and eyes. Harmful if swallowed)

Take case out of vacuum. Use hammer and screwdriver to break apart plaster mould and dispose each plaster. Polish of wax paper from inside of the case so that only the carbon fiber pillowcase mold remains. Race case with soap and water to clean.

Gradation 8: Cut to Size

(Careful when using Dremel tool, glucinium sure to tie up hair or anything idle that may get caught in the exponent instrument. Use Dremel instrument to cut carbon paper fiber case to the dimensions of your phone vitrine mold. Use cutting peak to cut large pieces off. Drill holes along dorsum of case for tv camera and speakers (etc.) using oil production wind. Use buffer tip to smooth any rough edges. Figure phone mold until you have your desired shape.

Tone 9: Add Final Coat

Mix 2-hour epoxy glue resin and hardener reported to directions and apply a light coat on finished phone case. Permit to dry for 2 hours.
